The “Machines de l’île”

There is a very famous cultural place in Nantes, it’s a nod to the industrial history of the city. It’s inspired of the book “à la croisée des mondes” of Jules Vernes and of the imagination word of Léonard de Vinci

The animations are fascinating and ludique for the all family, we can find different activities : the elephant (the most famous one), the carousel of the marine’s word, the heron’s tree and the machin’s gallery.

 

 

 

The Elephant

This area is located in the isle of Nantes to refresh and to bring to life a place constituted by old dockyar fallen into disuse, they received a Thea award for their innovation in the international tourism exhibition in 2014.
